Gomathi Shanmugasundaram is the founder principal of two primary schools and she has established them as models for innovative teaching. Gomathi has developed a large number of exciting science experiments and her award-winning Science-Lab-in-a-Box Kit is being used in over 1200 schools. Her Science classes are filled with fun experiments and students love her visual explanation of concepts.
As Director of AhaGuru, Gomathi focuses on ways to continuously elevate children’s Maths and Science Learning. Gomathi has recently been awarded the “Young Leader Award under 40” (in Education) at the 3rd edition of Indian Brand and Leadership Conclave 2022 supported by The Brand Story Media. She has also been featured as one of the “Top 10 Inspiring Women in 2022” in the CXO Outlook Magazine.
Dr. Balaji Sampath (All India Rank 4 in IIT JEE 1990) has guided thousands of students get into IITs, NITs and BITS, during his two decades career as a renowned teacher. Balaji’s Physics and Math classes focus on conceptual clarity, fun experiments and innovative problem-solving techniques that he has himself developed.
Many of Balaji’s students claim that they ’fall in love with Physics’ when they attend his classes. His popular Science demos on Sun TV, his books, videos and teaching methods have inspired lakhs of students. Balaji Sampath is also the Founder of AID India, a non-profit organisation that has educated two million poor children and has constructed 500 homes for homeless families.
Balaji is an recipient of the Ashoka Lemelson Inventor Award for Innovation in Science Education and Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Madras and the University of Maryland.
