Chemical bonding is one of the most basic and important fundamentals of chemistry that explains concepts like molecules and chemical reactions. To understand these concepts better, one has to be thorough with the different types of bonds in chemical compounds and reactions.

This course will cover the complete class 11 portions on chemical bonding which will be useful for your school exams and all competitive exams like JEE/NEET.

This course will give you a clear understanding of various types of chemical bonds like ionic, covalent, co-ordinate and hydrogen bond. All the theories like valence bond theory (VBT), Valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory, and molecular orbital theory (MOT), Hybridisation, sigma and pi bonds, and Fajan’s rule will be discussed in detail with many solved examples. About the Teacher

Prof. Evvie Chockalingam did her M.Sc Eng and Ph.D from IISc Banglore. She was teaching Chemistry for B.E students at Anna University for almost 4 years. She also worked as a scientist at CSIR Lab for 3 years. Over the last ten years she has been teaching chemistry for Class 11 and Class 12 students who are aspiring for IIT JEE and NEET by following a conceptual teaching method.

This is a self-study course. Doubt-clearing feature is not included as a part of this course. The validity period of any single course is 1 year. If you had purchased for 2 classes then the validity period is for 2 years. The validity period will be extended automatically to one more year if you purchase any other course from AhaGuru the next year.

The test series will be available for students from January. The students will be invited to attend the test through email or whatsapp.
